Establishment of B&T Department

• Train Tourist activities were existing since 2005 but Business & Tourism department properly established in 2009.

• Tourist Train Inauguration ceremony was held on 10 Oct, 2010 by Honorable Federal Minister of Pakistan Railways, Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour. Honorable Minister personally accompanied this inaugurated train till Golra Sharif Railway Station.  This historic event gained wide coverage by print & electronic media throughout the country.

• Since October 2010 to March 2011 there was no Commercial activities conducted by B & T Department.
